The final word on data backup programs
If you are using Windows XP make a drive image using your XP software and then set up a backup schedule for data insurance. If you want to backup to a CD without creating a backup folder and then burn to a CD; try the freeware Backup Maker.
For more substantial drive imaging, incremental backups and system restores, choose a software package compatible with your system. If you hate the systems nuts and bolts, make sure you can get decent tech support from the vendor. This is not a given these days. Try Retrospect Professional or True Image for a full backup system.
