How comfy are you behind a computer screen? If you don’t know too much about handling files and jumping around on the internet, an online degree may be more frustration and stress than the sit down and take notes traditional sheepskin.

Can you work well alone, without someone checking up on you? Online degrees are totally self motivated. If you can’t keep up with assignments and stay focused no one is going to be there for you to make it happen. And when you are not getting a key concept, there is no speaking with the prof after class. You have to be aggressive in communicating your educational needs.

Can you get or still use your financial aid package? Check up with the institution before you assume the aid is there for the taking.
