This exam shines a laser beam through your eye and then tracks how the light is affected by all the structures in your eye. It’s a new, more precise means of measuring your eye and therefore results in a more precise lens prescription. Candidates for the Abberometer are those with night and/or fuzzy vision.

Soon the Abberometer will be helping in contact lens prescriptions as well, so ask your eye doctor for updates.
