Corneal reshaping lenses

Want to improve your vision…not just maintain it? There’s a new contact lens called corneal reshaping lenses on the market that manufacturers say will reshape your eye while temporarily correcting your vision while you sleep. 

Here’s how it works…the lenses are made to flatten the eye, making it shorter and therefore less near sighted. The change is temporary and when you stop wearing them they go back to their previous shape.
 
Some eye specialists are concerned about wearing contacts at night saying they increase a chance of infection tenfold, since your cornea doesn’t get the amount of oxygen it needs. Manufacturers say if you keep your hands and contacts clean you won’t have a problem.

Costs can go over a thousand dollars but for some, it’s worth it.
