Re: craftsman snowblower light

I tried this, but the light came on for a few seconds and went dim like I blew it. Do you think I might need something like a battery in the series. If this is the case, have you hear of this. The motor is a B&S 9.5 powerbuilt, brand new on a Craftsman blower.

I have a wire hanging out, but don't know what to connect. The connection is not formiliar to me, and I cann't find anything at the autoparts store to make a simple add on light.
Re: How do I get tubeless tire back on the rim????????

Had a battle going on with this, and I just solved it. I took the tire off and brought it to a local tire shop, and they added sealant to the rim edge and replaced the stem. All good now. Now we just need snow!

I just ran in to the same issue, nothing like going out for the first storm, and having to deal with this problem. I ended up using a come-a-long to ratch the cold stiff tires. pretty near impossible with rope or a belt in the cold, maybe in the a warm garage it would work.
B&S Powerbuilt Snow OHV 9.5 trottle control

Has anybody ever added a trottle control lever to this motor. I have this motor w/ out one on my snow thrower and would like to add one. I'm wondering how difficult and what the parts are?
