Shopping and buying auto insurance is headache inducing. Esurance says they want to make it less so with new options. Hooking up with Answer Financial, Esurance, the car insurance company that eliminates the agent, says customers can now get a quote from Esurance but also the competitor’s prices for the same options and pick the best policy and purchase on the spot.

Esurance President Gary Tolman says his company is committed to making the whole auto insurance process as painless as possible. Esurance was one of the first to give immediate rate comparisons online. Now the customer can buy the insurance from anyone of the quoted companies right there on the Esurance site, enabled by Esurance partner Answer Financial. Anything that can take a step or two out of a stressful process is a good thing.
