What is a 2006 model worth? I now a Honda dealer selling one, machine was just tuned up.

I have been looking on CL (out of state) and stumbled upon this machine but he wants 2200.00..... One of my boss' is interested.

Then today I found a 928 tracked Honda five years old as well and he is asking 1950 but is interested in a trade and cash for my Toro. When I asked why he is selling it guy said he is too tall and that the Honda is uncomfortable??? Not sure of the Honda's height .......or even the truth. What is a fair cash offer including my 826OXE??

2012 Honda  handle bars are  2 inches higher then the previous years.

I see a local HS724 (track) being listed for $1500.00 CDN.  It looks almost mint.  No mention of what year it is.  I know that if it was bought locally, the owner paid well over 3K for it and likely closer to 3.5K all in.

Despite the knowledge that it's a top notch machine, not sure I'd pay that much for a used one.  However, new one are still ridiculously expensive.  I compared new Hondas to the new Yamahas and I'd give the nod to Yamaha.  They have some real nice touches on their machines.  I particularly like Yamaha's shock drive protection for the auger as well as plastic lined impeller housing and chute.  Prices are just as nuts as Honda but Yamaha seems to give you more for the money.

He mentioned a grand plus my machine, there is no way imo that its fair. He purchased it last year so at  the least he is the secnond owner. The main issue is he is 150 miles away which adds another 150 (gas and tolls) nevermind probably 3 hours each way so I think this is a no go. If I knew more about the machine I would be all over it, dont think I will get another chance to trade a blower and cash for a Honda JMHO.

Nevermind not sure how I am going to like the tracks having such a small property.....

Are you a happy guy in general?

tracks aside - have you looked at the 27" Husky with tracks...
I've looked at not as it seems like a good compromise in space, Power + Hydro tranny.
I've yet to see the machine so can't speak for other tidbits like chute operation, etc.
