Chris, Sorry too refer too you as the "the other guy". (I dont want too start a flamefest in the first thread.) Congratulations on being the first too post. Did you just wander in here from someplace else...like terps and I? Do we get a help section, so that we can learn how too use this place? It's kinda scarey...like being in a big white room that doesnt have a door or any windows.

Hi guys, At first glance I still like the WTB board. When you post a reply you can see all the other posts. Can then respond to several. Here you either see the first one or the one you are replying to, but not the rest. Hope they put in instructions on how to post pics. I need those smileys to save my bacon, so people know when I'm not being serious. Otherwise I can see a lot of brush fires being started in the dry season.

Hey Holmes, Carlos and Highwind. (Stick a fricken happy face here.) Welcome too the "new" forum. (another happy face) Seems kinda "bare-bones" around here. Do we have a "pro-active" admin around that is willing too answer some questions or are we pretty much on our own? (Left too our own devices...I am sure that all of us would leave beer cans all over the place.) Talk too your guinea pigs! Later...'lint.

Hey Emmo. I think they tricked us and sent us too some sort of forum hell. I notice that all the pranksters are here...and all of the good boys and girls aren't. They have been feeding me bread and water for 3 days...and they took away all of my toys. Anybody know Morse Code? (... .... .. -) The Oklahoma kid is carving a gun out of a bar of soap...and I have been bribing the guards with colorful colloquialisms and midwestern folk songs. I havent resorted too putting my pants on backwards yet....but if we dont get some color around here soon...I dont what I will do. SHHHH! Here comes the guard!

I could've sworn I told them either or...not BOTH! I know Morse Code....he's kind of a strange fellow...has a bit of a stutter but I'm sure he'll grow out of it...:-( Watch the Okie kid ... if he asks you to bend over to get the soap, you might want to Just Say No! Doesn't even have satelite or cable here. :.( Boy I don't get how these responses get posted (order-wise). I posted this in response to your initial shout out. Yet it gets posted way down the discussion. Sure liked the Yabb board better. Much more logicistical!! And yeah,.....I know I sound like a crotchety old man! ;-)

Let's think of a few possibilties here......... The link we were given say's "preview" and you can only access this via the preview link. Maybe we really are guinue pigs and they are looking for feedback on what to offer, ad and change? Or, Maybe in the preview mode, if it's a mode, is only bare bones and the real/live mode is complete? Or, Maybe this is it and they hope to build as we go? I hope it's one of the first two.

I think we have already given some suggestions. We could use a few answers. I dont mind being a lab rat...but until the powers above take a little interest and supply some answers on exactly what we are doing here...WTF. It cant take that much effort on thier part too do so. If this is an example of WTB is going too be in the future...There is always GW and about 10 other sites too waste our time in. We all put the effort into being here...ready too help out...and we are left, looking like idiots running around in a maze, looking for a piece of cheese.

LOL In the reviews section, I posted a test review if you will. Someone came in last night late and tryed to make the picture uploading work for reviews. I tried a .gif image and couldn't make it show up. But, they are trying it appears, that's a good thing! The more I find out the more I'll pass on. Hopefully were on our way.

Ok, I'm here.........I joined way back in NOVEMBER, so does that mean I have seniority? I will try to be good and give abby a chance, but they need to know that we are very loyal to the old forum, and if they want a smooth transition, they need to try to make it as much like the older one as possible.....which means not starting from scratch, but just improving what we already know and love. I'd even pay to keep the thing going like what we are used to. At the risk of sounding like a crybaby, I want my stars back...I earned them. I want my smiley faces, I want pictures, I want my OPE list I want it to be called OPE forum, not lawnmower, I want icons under our name, I want my log-in name shown, not the name my Mamma gave me, I want to toggle between this and No topic forum, I want our witty sayings under our name I want to read it like the old one, I want to still see the archives, I want to stay logged in, I want to see who else is on, I want PM's...ETC,ETC. I don't mind the new forum, but I want it to have the GOOD features we had before. It should be an enhanced upgrade of what we had before, not a whole new weird thing. All I want for Christmas is not to lose what we have...... Frank D. faithfulFrank
