As usual - give a man a camera and they "accidentally' cut off the head and all you're left with is a chest shot. Sherri
Sherri,
You mentioned this photographic peculiarity before. And it got me to thinking why a man would accidentally cut off the heads of certain female subjects. I have thought of a few theories. A good photographer always wants to frame the subject matter of most interest in a quadrant off centre, and if the guy has the zoom in too far to capture the objects of interest in greatest detail, he's bound to cut off less important areas. A sure indication he's an amateur photog or he's got a fetish with large objects. Second, was the subject a blonde? In which case why would anyone want to take a picture of empty, dead space? Just chop it off and forget it...a sign of a good photog... or he works/worked for Hustler mag. <<edited to correct "breatest" to "greatest"...must've been concentrating too much on the subject matter of interest, doooh!>>
