As I recall the DDM 22 was supposed to be a dealer dyson?? Only nobody told the dealers! Lots of bad, wrong, erroneous dyson info getting promulgated here on the Forum time and time again. What's wrong? Leadership/management is falling down like London Bridges. Carmine D.

Ahh the dc28,the Dyson king of the hill machine. Lets see its still 20 plus lbs. still can not get under anything in real homes. will seal itself to higher pile carpeting the normal everyday consumer will over adjust the brush and head, causing big prblems right off the bat. the attachments look very similar to bissels. This should be the straw that breaks the camels back. Great job guys [you have done it again] regards MOLE

I watched the HSN clip. Takes about 25 minutes. Very disappointing demoes and pitches. Gone are the grandiose praises of dyson sales. Dave had difficulty with picking up some of the materials he spread on th carpets. Boasting one pass pick up and after several passes w/o luck said the materials must have "static charge." Welcome to the real world Dave. He cheated on the dirt bin for the demoes. After picking up peanuts and popcorn with the attachments to the max fill [supposedly], he went w/o dumping the bin to the carpets. Look closely. The bin contents were not close to the max line. Way below. Obviously the fall off in air watts on this model require the fudging. Dave couldn't get the bare floor clean under the HSN chair in the upright mode. So for demo purposes had to convert to attachments and resort to the flat out tool. ORECK would have gotten under in a heart beat. He says dyson can't get 'low profile' cleaning in upright mode. Truth be told from seeing is that is not low profile for most of today's uprights. HOOVER TEMPO would have gotten it just as easily as an ORECK. WT too. Helen [a new lovely HSN face/personality] made some errors. Says this dyson technology is new and exclusive to HSN. Not quite Helen. It's been in BEST BUY stores for over a month. Dave didn't correct her? That's your job Dave. You are the dyson man. [Tho these are not selling from what I hear]. She repeated the error several times. Dave let her go. Shame on you. Helen made it clear that this is not the HSN launch for DC28. She said HSN is trying to sell some first so when it does launch [no time given by Dave and Helen] there will be some callers in with product affirmations. No more can they use the old dyson stand bys. Dave makes it clear this airmuscle technology is exclusive to this dyson product. There were no call ins today and no sales made. None. Price: 4 flex payments of $149 with free shipping. $599. Poster's opinion: Dyson Dave lost his dyson zeal. He needs to go. Carmine D.
