Simplicity P1628E For Sale?

My son went off to college, so the wife and I are downsizing into a condo. I have a Simplicity Signature Pro P1628E Snow blower (either 3 or 4 years old, can't remember which) that I am not going to need any longer. Given that nothing is wrong with it, what would be a good asking price? Paid $2,200 for it brand new. Advice anyone?

Re: Use of snow blowers on steep incline.

Hi All. I am going to buy a snow blower soon and need some advice. My driveway is between 20% to 30% grade for about 150 feet.. I am concerded that a wheel drive snow blower will not be able to get up a drive that steep with snow on the drive. At what angle of incline does a trak drive blower need to be considered? What is the primary puopose of trak drive?. Thanks! Doug D Thanks everybody for the input. Doug D 20-30% incline is the most I have ever heard!

Give me your coordinates, I'll line up the Simplicity then engage a suitable snow bank. Wait a few minutes then prepare for incoming. You'll need a very stout umbrella. Using the Simplicity is like bringing a gun to a knife fight... Borat's the favorite.

Re: Ariens a BIG disappointment

My neighbor had similar issues. He sold it at a garage sale and bought a Simplicity... then moved to Minnesota. He said the Simplicity (Large frame) was worlds better in quality than the Ariens.
