Re: Toro 721 model 38742 oil pouring out breather tube

check the oil level it you may have had a carb problem the allowed fuel to get into the oil. If that is the case fix the float issue on the carb and drain the oil and refill with the correct amount of oil.

I now have a (83 hour)John Deere L110a with hydrostatic drive and while i bought it used it is in very good condition and works well. I am looking to get a Zero turn mower as i have a fair amount of stuff to mow around the JD tractor is not a problem but, I am looking to make life a little easier with a ztr. I have about 1/2 acre to mow and was looking for recommendations for a new ZTR

Re: Difficult to swap-out hi-altitude carb jet in Honda motor?

Since the EPA forces all engines used in the states to run very lean because of their regulations you are probably fine with the larger jet. As mentioned above run the engine under a load for a while pull the spark plug and see what it looks like. There are many pictures on the web of what the plug on a properly jetted engine should look like.

Re: TORO 221QE weird grinding sound when trying to start

was it grinding when you used the electric starter? If so you have a problem with the starter gear engaging the flywheel. could just be a dirty/greasy bendix.
