anybody have good program that will keep the spies out of my computer . seems like every now an then i manage to find some of that stuff hiding in my computer. not sure what it actually is called. i think some of the more computer savvy folks remove it manually and i would opt for this if i knew how. im a little leary of installing new software...im led to beleive but could be wrong, that all the anti virus stuff still keeps tabs on you and reports this information to someone or something. any help in this would be appreciated thanks chris

Get a good program like Norton, they have aniti-virus, firewall, the works. I run a little program called Spybot Search and Destroy. It works pretty well in removing stuff that shouldn't be there. It was free too. No problems with the spyware deal either. Zone Alarm is a good free firewall.
