Stooges film fest.
Original Message   May 15, 2005 12:50 pm
Hey guys,
The stooges have become public domain....
Stooges Movies
(You will have too use the "search" too find them.     ie....3 stooges.

You will need Quicktime too play them. (Works with IE also...media player.)
Would anyone know how too save them too disk? (Thanks Mo and Paula.)
(Heavy edit due too previous dead link.)

Hey Linty

I saved them to my hard drive by opening them up in Windows Media Player, then clicking on File, then Save Media As and its downloading to my hard drive.  I do have broadband so that makes it easier, otherwise I think it would take longer.  From there you should be able to save it to a Cd-Rom.  Not sure if you're talking a diskette but I don't think those are big enough to hold the file.  You could also do it the easy way and save it directly to a Cd-rom   (a blonde moment...I need to get a darker shade of hair dye...)

Long live the Stooges!

Hey lint............

Have you tried the MPEG2 file under Downloads(left side of the page for each movie)?? I think that saves it to your computer and you can manipulate it from there.?

I don't know for sure...... but I do know these are huge files and even with high speed, they take awhile to download!

Thats where I chose them but they opened up in my media player to play...so I did the save through Windows MP from there.  With cable, mine took about 4 minutes to download.

LOL.......Quicktime is the one thing on Firefox that doesn't work right for me........When I click that link, Firefox downloads that into a temp file and then I can move that file wherever I want.

Glad you got em downloaded.

I have Windows Media Player set as my default browser for both browsers and all formats of video and audio files.. I never have liked Quicktime or Real Player much.
