Aline foot alignment system

If the words “Tour de France” set your heart a thumping, and you envision yourself in the pack, you know the importance of a bicycle fitting you properly. There is a wonderful foot alignment and support system for high end cyclists called Aline.

According to its manufacturer, It positions and suspends the cyclist’s foot inside the shoe for greatest efficiency and transfer of power. Veltec Sports will be distributing this product that uses a laser assisted fitting device to get a perfect match between the cyclist’s feet, ankles and knees and the bike.

The fitting is a mere five minutes with a total cost of $75 to $100 for the inserts, tabs and fitting. Veltec reps say “Proper bike position has always been concerned with biomechanical efficiency, and finally there’s a scientific way to optimize the power input side of that biomechanical equation.” Are you ready for the yellow shirt?
