My vacuum just needs a switch.my mailman said it should only cost 20 dollars to repair it.The truth is your new high tech mega buck vacuum has a control board that the switch is built into it.And the board is 325.00 dollars. ha ha ha..welcome to new and improved..

What brand and model number vacuum? Vac shops like auto repair shops add a premium to the prices of parts they sell. Often the same parts are available for much less. I buy my own parts and use videos I find on line to fix appliances of all sorts.
