Hoover bagged stops as soon as I tilt to start moving
Original Message   Jan 30, 2017 2:08 pm
I have a 6 yr old Hoover bagged self propelled vacuum cleaner. It turns on ok. But, as soon as I press the release lever and start tilting it, the motor stops automatically and the power light blinks. Any ideas what's wrong with it? It doesn't turn back on until I make it vertical again. Thanks

Loose connection between the base and the upper body. Or possibly a wire is pulled tight as you tilt it back and looses contact due to misrouting. Was the machine repaired recently? Sometimes techs are sloppy and don't take the time to route wires correctly. Check the wiring between the lower and upper body.
