FilterQueen Vacuum - the best on the market?
Original Message   Sep 19, 2016 1:27 am
I have been hanging out with the FilterQueen Sales reps and here are some of their claims;

The Filterqueen Vacuum is the best on the market for the following reasons;

1. The centrifugal design where the dirt is moved the outside of the vacuum allowing the clean air to move up and through the filter. Where the filter doesn't clog up and allows for continual air flow. Where the filters in most vacuums clog up right away because of the direct air flow across the filter membrane.

2. And all of the other claims found here; http://www.filterqueen.com/majestic.html Does anyone have any experience with the product and know if this has been tested by outside resources? When I was in their demo, I was amazed at the amount of dirt removed through this product.

Most houses are filty and their vacuum cleaners don't even touch the deeper dirt whereas this cleaner pulled out tons of filth from the carpets, furniture and beds.

Thoughts?

Ah, but the filters do clog and when they do, airflow and thus cleaning power is greatly reduced. What cleans your house is a combination of suction, airflow and agitation. The more powerful your vacuum motor is the more suction and airflow it can generate, but there is a limit to what you can do. Underwriters Laboratories, meaning the insurance industry, restricts the current draw of domestic appliances sold in the US to 12 amps. Of that 12 amp total, 1 - 1 1/2 amps are used by the motor in the power nozzle leaving you with 10 1/2 to 11 amps (rare case) for the suction motor. The motors Filter Queen uses are unexceptional in terms of cleaning power. Their current two speed motor is rated at a mild 9.3 amps. There are much more powerful vacuums on the market for a fraction of the price Filter Queen is asking. Be very suspicious when someone knocks on your door and tries to sell you something you weren't looking to buy claiming what they are selling is vastly superior to what everyone else is selling. It probably isn't. Their demos are designed to make their machine look good and make yours look bad. Every vacuum will appear to pick up a lot of dirt if you start with a fresh clean vacuum. Put a fresh bag in your machine, vacuum a room, then take the bag out and cut it open.

sold a lot of filterqueens. was a excellent demonstration all geared to make the customer feel like they needed it, In the real world in real use with real people using it,many customers over 80% would not purchase again. Agree with the COUNT.way way overpriced, too hard to use filters do block seen these overheat so bad that the shield on the top melted. at 1 time health -mor was a class operation. regards MOLE
