Electrolux 1205 issues
Original Message   Dec 5, 2010 4:16 pm
My Lux 1205's bag door does NOT stay closed when the vac is on.  I put a new bag in the Lux & the automatic shut-off still activated.  what could be the problem?

My suspicion is the air tube inside the bag end is clogged with dust.  Giving a false positive that the bag is full.  Remove the plate covering the inner workings of the bag end.  Remove the end of the see thru tube hose that is clogged and clear it out.  Then reassemble and it should be fine.

From now on, I'll stay away from those cheap single-ply bags ($1 store) & get the HEPA bags instead ($16 for pk of 8)
