Any high temp grease will work, stens is just a after market parts source. So its just high temp grease with their name on it. Go buy a good high temp grease from anywhere.

Ok, That engine should have a fuel shut off solenoid that kills the fuel when the key is shut off allowing the rest of the fuel in the jet to clear out and burn so that there is no back firing when shut down. Located on the side of the carb. Now for the spark issue. Remove the coil and clean the mounting surface at the post and on the coil where the screws mount. Engine heat has been known to expand metal right? So a poor connection there can cause it to loose a ground, when it cools down (boom) its grounded again. Also pull the carb apart just to see if any water as entered within the bowl area. Are you forsure losing spark, or is this fuel related. (solenoid) Let me know what you find. And don't forget to clean all battery termanals and engine grounds to frame. Good luck!

Did you look underneath and see if the belt is still on the pulleys? Have you removed any of the rear wheels? Some have a square key on the axle and if this comes out it will not move. Also did you by any chance pull the dump valve handle, you know to push it around so it rolled freely? Check those first and get back to me.

Replace the neutral safty switch, you got water in it and now its junk. Maybe you can dry it out if it didnt rust in there.
