My snowblower starts ok but the auger does not spin does anyone have any idea why this is happening ???  Would appreciate any input !! Thank you !!

Belt off .....  Maybe....   Sheared key....   are the belts turning.?

Belts turn fine The auger wants to spin then stops once engaged

Does the impeller shaft turn inside the auger gear case and if so, are there any unusual grinding sounds? If the shaft is turning and all seems normal in the auger gear case, you probably have broken shear bolts/pins.
