I've got a Toro S-620 snow thrower with electric start. I don't have the cord for the starter because it was a hand-me-down. Can I use any extension cord to try the starter or does it have to be the cord that came with it? Anyone know?

If your extension cord is of sufficient gauge (thick enough wire) and the end to the snow thrower is a a three prong that fits, by all means use it.  I wouldn't use anything too long though unless it's particularly heavy. 

yes you can use pretty much any extension cord u want, it wont matter

My blower uses a 3 prong plug. If yours does too don't try to defeat it by using a 2 prong socket.
