This model is a "Deluxe" advertised with an 11.5 hp Tecumseh Snow King.

Thanks, I've read that thread, but it does not answer the question of what model # the engine is. I don't find any other threads that identify the engine model on a new 11528, just the R3 thread.
It could be an 11hp in an extreme state of excitement, or it could be an extremely relaxed 13 hp.
But I don't find any reference to model # or even displacement.

The second thread references power output of  Tecumseh snow engines by model #.

Now, if I could find - out - the - model - number - of - an - 11528 I'd be all set!

You need model numbers if you want an answer that might be right.

Do you mean the 11528LE? That's the machine I have which I bought in August 2004. The engine model# is OH318SA

The 12 and 13 are listed as a 21.82 cubic inch engine.

So it looks like it's a highly motivated 11 hp....
