Another safety device for kitchen stoves

A handy new gadget is aimed at stopping dangerous stove fires.

When you are purchasing a new stove or range, make sure you pick up a “Stove Guard”. Save On Security Systems Inc. has manufactured this safety device to turn the stove elements off when there is no one around the area of the stove.

For those of us who are memory challenged, apt to have “senior moments” or have parents living alone who are in early stages or Alzheimer’s this could be a life saver.

Here’s how the Stove Guard works. You just put the stove plug in one side and then Stove Guard’s plug into the wall outlet. There is a motion sensor as well as a timer in a unit that will then be put on the wall or on an upper cabinet near the stove. Voila, you have all you need to make sure the stove doesn’t start a fire due to your negligence.

The Stove Guard will turn the stove off after a certain amount of time when no motion is detected near the stove.  If you are concerned about your family’s forgetfulness, either you, your kids or your folks, make sure you purchase Stove Guard for a little more peace of mind.
