I want to remove the panel that the handle runs thru. The only way to do that is remove the knob.In the parts manual it shows it as a seperate part.So there has to be a way.

Ariens Rear engine mower moves when in neutral

I have a ariens rear engine mower that will still pull when it is in neutral.I know that something is supposed to hold the clutch pedal down some to disengage the drive. The other day I started it and it took off across the garage.I cannot figure out what holds the pedal down.

I have one that I pull behind my ATV.It works ok.Sometimes I pull it behind my riding mower.I offset it to mow a wider cut.The previous post brought up a point that I hadn't thought of.
