A few pics of our last blizzard in Boston.
Original Message   Feb 23, 2005 4:00 am
A few pics of our last blizzard in Boston, and some of my fine work cleaning up the next day...

Robert

This is our "little" house. The cleanest area on the street.

Great!!! Thanks for clearing out a parking space for me.  How about sending some of that snow back to the west.

Those are some fantastic pictures!  And THAT is a snow storm!  We USED to get snow like that when I was a kid....(or maybe it just seemed that way because I was shorter so everything looked bigger...).

Cajunblu,

How much snow fell? Judging by the drifting around the cars, you had some pretty strong winds in that storm.

I'm jealous.

Wishing we'd get one of those real storms.

I am jealous.  That is a storm, almost too much.  How long did it take to clear?

Glad ya'll liked the pics, sorry I couldn't find anyone to take some of me clearing...

Got 28 to 30 inches in tweenty - four hours, wind gusts 50 to 70 mph. (This was a snowacain)

Cleared 5 houses on my side of the street, 1 around the corner, two walkways between house, two back yards, a corner house on the otherside, five cars and one driveway, and one fire plug. Took 5hrs 45min. Let me tell you I was whipped after that.

When you shovel out your car, you put a barrel, chair, orange cone anything you can find to reserve that spot. This is called "Respect" the barrel or chair.  That is your parking spot. AND DON'T PARK IN SOMONES SPOT.

Did all this with my Craftsman MTD, and the only problem I had was I had to fill the gas tank 4 times...(Had to get this in)

We still have a few snow piles left. Expecting another 5 to 8 inches tomorrow night, and another storm Monday.

There's only one answer for that if someone stole the space you just created.........GET THE SNOWBLOWER BACK OUT THERE & CREATE A MOUNTAIN....,
