Are you a liberal, conservative or ???
Original Message   Jan 29, 2005 2:29 pm
You may not be the political stripe you think you are.  Take the world's shortest political quiz and find out your political stripe!

I'm a right leaning Libertarian.

You think I'm conservative, wait until you see Jubols test results! I hope I scroll that far.

ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS,

The political description that
fits you best is...

.

CENTRIST

CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government

control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on

the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention

and sometimes support individual freedom of choice.

Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind,

tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what

they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

The RED DOT on the Chart shows where you fit on the political map.

Here I am "On the Fence"

Dan

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 40%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 70%.
(Please note: Scores falling on the Centrist border are counted as Centrist.)

Considering everyone else was posting there Red dot - here's mine.

LIBERTARIAN

LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and

economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one

that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose

government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate

diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

The RED DOT on the Chart shows where you fit on the political map.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 70%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 90%.
(Please note: Scores falling on the Centrist border are counted as Centrist.)

I do believe i'm a liberal wing-nut, which is why Marshall, you'll notice I tend to stay out of the political discussion threads--i don't wannt give anybody a heart attack :)  I think the test could be a little more detailed though, cuz i don't consider myself as far left as that.

Terrapin,

I agree. As you are farther left, I am farther right. I believe the questions are worded in a manner that keeps most people near the fringes of the center. Polls are only as slanted as the pollsters. I think if there were more detailed questions our red dots would be safely nested in our perspective camps.
