Abby's Guide going LIVE
Original Message   Jan 13, 2005 5:32 pm
To all,

The time has come, after much work, for Abby's to go live and become open for business. This will officially happen, baring any unforeseen events, tomorrow Friday the 14th @ 3:00 PM 2005.

On behalf of the staff at Abby's Guide, the Moderators and myself, I want to personally thank all of the members for your help, suggestions and patience during this migration. It's been trying at times and I know the trouble many of you went through to continue on with our group, thank you and hat's off to you!

On behalf of the Moderators and the members, I also want to thank the staff at Abby's Guide for bringing us a new and soon to be more successful site, thank you!

On a personal note, I have made many friends here over the years, probably an enemy or two also,  and have learned a ton about OPE from all of you. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to spending many more years with you while learning more about OPE and making many more new friends.

Here's to the new forum, cheers!

Marshall

It is good to be here and the new home looks great.

Any news on closure of the old forum?

The related old sites will all have a "We've moved!" message tomorrow. Then the archives will be available shortly thereafter. The old sites will still be available to moderators, near instantly, more than likely.

Just wanted to thank all that kept pressing forward to get this forum going. You are to be commended. That goes for the staff of Abby,s, the moderators and us members who would not give up. (Thought I would never be registerd except as a XYDCXRWJJ) Man I am tickled I have a better registration. If it would have been in my makeup I would have given up. Won,t have much to say until this winter (have no knowledge of snow blowers, etc) is over but I look forward to gardening, mowing , etc. next spring. May the GOD of this world watch over and keep all of you, your families and friends--Your friend Will

Well, have we blown up or anything? I feel like I was waiting on it to turn 12:00 midnight, 2005 and it never came. No bells, sirens, buzzers, champagne, naken women or anything?

Well, thank God the Snowshoveler twins made an appearance!!
