From the vending machine at work I purchased a "Pecan Fudge Brownie"...mmmm mmmm good. Then I flipped it over to read the label. Guess who makes this sugar-filled, artery-clogging confection?  "Kellog's of Battle Creek"!!!  The same people who are trying to sell us Special K and telling to eat a healthy breakfast are creating a market for it by selling fudge brownies.  Go Figure.

Yea, I think you can set those brownies out and come back ten years later and still be good. LOL

Kellogs makes a lot of other, sugar filled, breakfast cereals too though.

Wouldn't that be a form of "horizontal integration" where they go after the health conscious with Special K and the not-so health conscious with the sugar and fat product lines.

The company makes all kinds of food products: some healthy, some not. I'm waiting for them to sell running shoes, tennis rackets,  lazy-boy chairs, and defribulators next to cover off the same customers who enjoy their food lines.

I like to wash mine down w/ a cold beer and cigarette.  It really kick starts my day.

In the stupidity of my youth, I thought the four basic food groups were:
Caffeine, Nicotine, Alcohol and Doritios............
