snowshoveler gets new name
Original Message   May 15, 2005 8:42 am
yea now i know what your thinking so stop it.

miss snowshoveler and i went to a nearby cattle farm with her truck and got load of manure for our soon to be garden.

tractor with loader put about 2 yards on the back of her F150. stuff is kinda heavy.

so home we go,we get to the garden with her truck and she looks at me and says in a very sweet voice...

it seems as though you are a shi*shoveler now boy so get this stuff off my truck.

and she promptly hops out of the truck and heads for the house laughing all the way.

sheesh some guys get all the luck.

only took a few minutes to unload so it wasnt to bad. now im gonna mix in some leaf mulch and topsoil and till it all up.

we have about 2 weeks before planting time here so i should be ready in time.

The sh*t on the back of the truck wouldn't have been so bad if it wouldn't have blown up and caked fast to the window.  The stuff is extremely wet and heavy, but theres barely no smell so that is a big plus.  (Too bad for the neighbors)

If he thought I was going to get myself mixed up in that crap he had another thing coming.  Why should I shovel sh*t when I can sit back and relax watching him?  It's a good way for him to get outta his matchbox.  He's been working with it all morning so far.  He's adding the leaves now and he plans to take my truck and get some horse manure later.

So in the subdivision agreement here says we can't have any farm yard animals because of the smell.  I wonder what the neighbors are going to think if or when the cow and horse manure starts to smell.  It's bound to cause some what of a stir and a smell.  I hope they get a good sniff, they're not the most helpful people around.

I really should go out and help.  Next thing you know I'll be in the matchbox.

Well, Snowshovler, you didn't exactly shovel it out, right, you just pushed it.  So I don't know what this is all about.      You're not a Sh*tshovler, you're just a nice guy who did a good deed.

We're just giving Shoveler a hard time....since we know he'll take it in stride like he did the shoveling...

Dave, I think I'll keep the name MissSnowshoveler until we're married.  Then I may take the name MissSh*tshoveler.

He did most of the work with the stuff and I just watched.  Why should the 2 of us be coated in barn yard smells?  After he got the leaves tilled in, I did help pick out some rocks.  After all I had to help somewhere along the line.
