The only peeve I have about this phone is that it could have a bit better speakerphone, but the settings need to be set right thats all. I do have the 1.3 version of firmware. It is a great phone with Windows Mobile 2003 SE on it which is a great OS. It has the Mini SD card slot which is different than the regular SD cards. The rocker switch gets hit almost everytime I take the phone out of it's case. With the phone being new, I had a hard time finding a case. I settled from a Cellet case, and it comes out of the top of the case about 1/2". The power button could protrude out of the phone more like the camera button. It is a nice thin phone with not antenna.
I had a nasty time with Cingular. They didn't put the money on my account right so I spend a total of 1 day over a period of 3 days trying to get my phone to work. I finally took the phone back to the store they had to return my phone because that was how the system worked to get my money into the right account. Then I learned that they don't keep enough money in the register to do a return, so I did an exchange and got another new phone. I then ported my number in from Verizon and they created a new account for my number but didn't add the funds from my existing number with Cingular so I had to call in and spend another day trying to sort that out. I also made a call @ 9:03 one weekday night and was charged for it. They did fix that. I do get a beeping sound through my speakers at times which also sounds like the Morse Code.
