It’s binoculars…no, it’s a camera

It’s binoculars…no, it’s a camera…no it’s binoculars…and on and on as Pro Viewer has come out with the marriage of a digital camera and a pair of binoculars. Sounds a little creepy on one hand, but for others it could be a godsend.

Birders can finally snap away at that long forgotten aviary species spied in the Okefenokee Swamp and have concrete proof of their birding skills.

The BinoCam can zoom and take pictures and even record small video clips, all on an SD memory card and then viewed on an inch and a half mini LCD screen. There is an 8x zoom capability for the binocular part, a 2.1 or 5.0 megapixel capacity for the camera/video camera part.

With an MSRP price tag of $200, you may just want to take along a powerful pocket digital camera.
