Years ago I bought a Eureka Boss. This was a very plain upright with no frills whatsoever. It did a decent job cleaning our floors but my wife was never happy with it because it had no attachments.
We finally decided to buy a new one but we wanted a quality product. That ruled out buying from Walmart or any big box store. I went to a janitorial supply store and asked what they had to offer. They recommended the Sanitaire without hesitation. We looked it over, taking our time in doing so. My wife was happy with the attachments and the bag accessibility. We did not care that it has a HEPA filter.
Anyway, we both felt that it was a quality vacuum and 9 months later we are still very happy with it. We recommend it and would buy another.
Both of us are so glad that we didn't buy a Windtunnel or one of the other gimmick vacuum cleaners.
