Beware Royal
01/06/01 at 10:24pm

I've had the blue Royal canister for a couple of years and have paid in repairs almost what it cost me. It is currently in the shop where I purchased it for another $110 repair--the power nozzle is out. If I knew how to contact Royal, I would list the things wrong with this vacuum in addition to the high cost of keeping it running, but I doubt Royal cares. Just don't buy one!

We have been using the  BLUE ROYAL vac that you seem to be talking about for over eight years now.  We do house cleaning and it has been used very hard. The only thing we have had to replace is the roller brush and the floor brush.  We have used a lot of different vaccums, and must say, none has even come close to the ROYAL.  We are in fact going to buy another as a back up and hope it will serve us as good as the one we now use.  Sorry you had bad luck, and hope you find one that will fit your purpose.  Carl

Carl, I am thrilled to see how happy you are with the blue royal.Since you are going to buy another for a back up why don't you tell Jean where  you are buying it  so she can contact them like she said she wanted to in her post.
