DYSON margins
Original Message   Nov 28, 2012 11:40 am
Hi guys,

I am not sure if someone can help me.

Dyson use local partners and distributors for some international markets. Does anyone know the price margins involved? What are the usual price margins for the local distributor and retail partners. If a vaccum is priced at 500usd retail, how much does the distributor pay for it from Dyson, and at what price is sold to the retail partner before reaching the final customer.

Thanks guys!
Samy

It cost Dyson $35.00 to build their vacuum, that is including the fancy box. 60% of the retail cost goes to marketing their vacuum.
