Ariens starter cord replacement

The pull start cord on my Ariens 911072 self-propelled mower w/ a Tecumseh engine snapped this afternoon. I could tell it was starting to wear and it snapped today. I popped off the plastic cover and I see two 1/4inch bolts I can remove. This should expose the coil mechanism. Has anyone ever replaced this on a like mower if so any help would be appreciated?
