This thing hasn't ever stalled or cut out on me. It can cut up to 3/4" thick branches. There has been nothing I couldn't cut that I needed to. I do wish there was an oiler on these things, but I guess it attracts more dirt and that is not a good thing. Black & Decker has done good with the cord retention "loop" they have installed on the end of this unit. You simply loop the cord before you put it in the slot and slide it into the "lip", then pull it to make it tight.

Date Purchased: 3/21/2003
Price Paid: $45
Recommend: Yes
Pros:
Power
Lightweight
The Handle

Cons:
Turning the switch lock on can be dificult, as you have to try about 2 times or more before you get it right.
Worrying about cutting the cord in two.
