If you have a lot of edging to do, you can't beat one of these! I have a corner house and edge a LOT!!! This machine has never let me down! It cuts a nice deep edge with very little effort. I have used it to gut sod around my flower beds. I have also used it as a TILLER!!! (and that is total abuse!)

Pros:
Great basic Briggs engine! For some reason, this thing starts on 1/4 of a pull!
Big 9 inch blades
3.5 HP is all you need to cut even the hardest edge.
I have just tried double blades mounted like a + and I am getting even better performance and longer wear!
Cons:
Blades wear quickly but I think all edgers are the same. At least the replacement are cheap and easy to get at Home Depot. |
