Yep, you got water in the oil. Drain and refill it then run it for a few minutes. Change the oil again and you should be fine. The second oil change assures you got all the water -- cheap enough to do. Water probably got in through the carb.

Re: Husky Deflector Cable

Agreed, I was figuring $25 or so at the most...

Think I'm gonna modify it slightly for the time being just to get it through the season.  First of all, it shouldn't have broken --- only used for about 15 - 20 hours.  Second, they claim that it is the actual control assembly, not just the cable -- don't know if this is indeed true as I haven't taken it apart, but if this is the case then it's a piss poor design....

Anyway, thanks for letting me know that I'm not that crazy and / or cheap for thinking that this price was a bit high...

EDIT :  the part number they gave me was  532-19-84-75

Husky Deflector Cable

Long time lurker, first post.....

Anyway, have a husky 10530SBE (2 -3 years old) and the deflector cable broke at the eyelet.  Any ideas where to order one (from the comfort of this chair..) or am I better off picking one up from a local place ---- asked for a ballpark price and they quoted $45 - $50.  But they did say that they would need the serial to quote an exact price.

Thanks
