Ariens 11528LE Snow Thrower
#1   Mar 17, 2007 3:40 pm
I bought this machine on February 15, 2007, the day after the major snow storm. I paid $980.00 at The Home Depot. I bought this machine based on Ariens' reputation. I wanted one in a box that I could carefully assemble myself. They only had assembled units. The assembly was shoddy; to say the least. I carefully disassembled the unit and reassembled it. This machine is awesome. I was throwing over 16 inches of snow anywhere from 30 to 50 feet depending on how wet it was. The unit never gave out and just wanted to keep on working.

Today is March 17, 2007. We just got another 14 inches of snow. After doing a pre-start inspection I fired her up. Just kept rolling along with no problems. By the way; I drained the original oil and now use Mobil 1 5w30.

I highly recommend this machine to anyone that is looking for a top-of-the-line unit. If you are buying it from The Home Depot, make sure you check the assembly.
