Some have no adjustments, those that do are: ......initial adustments for both high(H) and Low(L) needles are:

  1  1/2 turns "out" from a lightly closed needle.

This is just the intial adjustment. Once it's started it may need futher  adjusments for proper performance.

What makes you think it needs adjusting?

I'm trying to find the original size of the "jackshaft drive belt", Part#07235800  (engine pulley to PTO) on a Ariens EZR 1440
