Ariens Sno-Thro: Gas Flow Problem-Fixed Last Year...
#1   Dec 19, 2009 4:25 pm
Ariens Sno-Thro Model 920001-ST624E.  Purchased two years ago.  Last winter, it would not start.  I contacted the Home Depot where I bought it and they said they were aware of an issue where gasoline was not getting into the system to make it run.  I had to haul it to them to fix.  They took apart some of it and showed me a valve that had stuck in the down position and was not allowing the fuel to pass.  They fixed it (no charge) and advised me to run it once a month and to turn the fuel shut off valve to off in the spring.  Of course I did none of this and now a snowstorm is going to hit us and it won't start.  Rather than having me haul the thing all the way back to Home Depot, does anyone know about this problem and how it's fixed?  I watched them do it and it seemed very easy to remedy.  I don't remember all the details and I don't want to start taking things apart if I don't really know what I'm doing.  Any help would be appreciate....
