Hello all..... This is my first post......I have an old Ariens Sno Thro given to me many years ago...I figured Id save it and use it if I ever had my driveway paved....it was given to me needing a new shaft and what is called a helicon gear.....My driveway was paved 3 months ago and I have since investigated my model # and purchased what I was told was the right shaft and gear for my gear case....my problem is How in the heck does it all come apart?...I have removed the two stages from the front of the unit....removed one auger opened the gear case (both shaft worm gear snd helicon gear are spent) how does the shaft back out of the gear case?....I see the pin through the helicon gear and have chased that through.....but I cant figure out how to seperate all this to get the new parts back on the shaft....and splined shaft back in the gear case???...I do not want to use force unless I know I am not going to damage anything else......just the new parts were over 140.00.....will I need new bearings?..or other parts to complete this fix?...also....does anyone know how old this thing is...and if it is even worth fixing....it is 8HP  32" wide with electric start....model # 910013  serial # 004529.....Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.....Geoff
