Looks like a common 110 volt hedge trimmer (ran with an inverter off the battery) or 14 volt cordless ran directly off battery..   Shame it only has a 35 or so inch blade... I think someone could take a secound unit and make a home built backup bar that would pair two units together for a 60 inch cut..

Looks kind of small.  Don't they have anything bigger that can trim 10 foot hedges?

Looking at that video kind of reminds me of the movie " The Shining" with Jack Nicholson.
