1130 se or 1330 se John Deere Snow thrower
Original Message   Apr 25, 2012 3:59 pm
I am having a hard time finding info on the 1130se John Deere snow thrower.  Is the speed selector assembly on the 1130se the same as the 1330se snow thrower?  any help thank you.

I have both the 1130 and 1330.  The gear selector is the same on both of these.  If you are looking at an 1130 you'll need to make sure the holes below the engine are sealed for moisture entering the transmission or it will most likely slip.  Once it's sealed it works fine.  The 1330 has a rubber gasket under the engine and fixes this potential problem.  I can try to answer other questions, although I don't look at this site too often.
