Honda HS35 still problematic....
Original Message   Dec 9, 2006 4:18 pm
Went ahead and bought a new carb for it, with new Insulator and Carb gaskets. Installed today but the thing still runs like crap. Will run fine at full choke, but as soon as I take the choke off, it revs up and down and chokes, never reaching its full operating RPM. It also backfires occassionally and I notice a Grayish smoke coming out of the exhaust. It is a light gray smoke, nothing thick.

Any ideas now?

Were you able to diagnose and solve the problem?

I sure hope so as it was 5+ years ago!
