Chains for Ariens 924118?
Original Message   Sep 24, 2011 7:00 pm
I have 8 year old, 8 hp, 24 "". It has Snow Hog Tires. My driveway is a very steep hill and about 160 feet (3/4 is the hill). I have slipped and fallen only once but I'm now 68. So, will chains improve traction of the Snow Hog tires? If so, any suggestions on where to buy them? Thank you,

Thanks for your input. I've managed 8 seasons without chains so I think I'll continue to do so and just try to be careful.....

There are spikes / chains that stretch over your boots if you are more worried about falling as opposed to problems with the blower.

Shryp, Yes, I did buy "chains" for my boots from LL Bean last year and they worked well. THANK YOU
