Changing Ariens sno thro belts
Original Message   Feb 11, 2011 8:21 pm
  2006 724E Sno Thro.

This blower has hooks on the bottom of the tractor that the bucket sits on, and is held tight by bolts.

When i remove the two top bolts, and loosen the two bottom bolts to split the machine the bucket "jumps" off the

tractor hooks and i'm left  with the both sections physically separated from each other.     I then have to lift the bucket, and

set it back on the two bottom bolts that it jumped off of

.

I don't know why Ariens put these hooks on in such away that this jumping off happens,so i'm here looking for some expert help.

It would have been no problem if Ariens just had bolt holes instead of these hook things.
