What is the difference between Toro 826 snow blower model 38624 and 38624W.

I am interested in purchasing a two stage snow blower.  I read alot about how good the Toro 826 model number 38624 snow blower is, so I found a local Toro dealer (National Lawn Equipment).  I had my heart set on the the 826.  I was told that the 38624 which is the 826 is no longer made and it was replaced by the 38624W.  I was told the the "w" model has steering on it and the rest of the unit was the same as the old 826.  Does anybody have any information on this new model or the steering?
