Ignition works, but it won't stay running
Original Message   Jul 5, 2010 11:49 am
First time writing about mower, it is little hard to decribe the situation, but i will try.

I have dynamark 11/36(if it's correct name). First, battery ran out, so I hooked up w/ my alternative battery. Now, ignition sounds pretty good and all the drive chain starts rotate and even grass cutting knife works too(turns). Problem is it doesn't stay running. if I turn the key to the original position engine stops. any idea which parts i should be looking at to fix and what is the problem at least?

It sounds like your switch. Try hot wiring it. if it stays running it is your switch. if you have good spark and fuel it should run. check spark first. if good spark , get a spray bottle- put gas in it and spray in your carb.. if it runs wile spraying then something is wrong keeping you from getting gas. i assume the fuel you are using is fresh. don't flood it just give it a small shot. do not use eather.
